"My family enjoyed a wonderful week at Grand Cayman this past summer, and
Tortuga Divers was responsible for much of that enjoyment.
Tortuga Divers is a class act all around, but your biggest strength is the
staff. They are responsive, competent and friendly. They find out their divers'
interests and abilities and plan the dives accordingly. Some dive operations
treat their customers more like cattle, "one size fits all" no matter what
interests or abilities there are, or at least constrain all divers to the
limitations of the weakest. Tortuga Divers personnel get to know their customers
as people and then craft the best possible diving experiences. During a week of
daily diving, I must have seen most, if not all of the staff. I don't want to
name names, because I might leave someone out, but everyone I encountered was
friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. One example: I was diving with my son, and
the staff onboard wanted us to be able to keep track of the time. I didn't bring
a diving watch, so one of the staff had me wear his personal watch. Another
example: My son was recently certified and fairly inexperienced. The staff
unobtrusively kept a close eye on him as he gained experience, offering helpful
hints at just the right times, crafting his dive experiences to build
competence, confidence and self-reliance. This was never overbearing, just the
right touch at the right time. These examples are typical, and all of your
customers can probably share similar experiences. It all led to a most enjoyable
vacation.
Tortuga Divers isn't the cheapest operation around, but be assured that if I am
lucky enough to get back to Grand Cayman, I will dive with you again. In terms
of quality of experience, Tortuga Divers is an excellent value. Good job, keep
up the good work, and I sincerely hope to see you again.
